This statement sums up my belief about training and counseling. My purpose is to help you improve in the areas of your practice you want to focus on.  

 My experiences include working in the corrections profession (security, case management & administration), substance abuse treatment - outpatient and inpatient programs and as a college educator.  Working with individuals on MI skills development, as well as worked with program start-ups and best practice implementation efforts in existing organizations.  

As a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers since 2009.  I have been working with professionals to start and improve their Motivational Interviewing skills since that time.  Some of the organizations I have worked with include Califorina Department of Rehabilitation, Wyoming Child Support, Wyoming Department of Corrections, and Volunteers of America
